Nominate Your Favorite Web Hosting Company for the Readers's Choice Award

HostReview, the leading online destination for the web hosting industry, announced the beginning of the third Best of the Year awards campaign and opened nominations for its Readers’ Choice category. HostReview will once again strive to recognize the innovators and leaders in the industry and to honor companies that excel in their respective business sector.

HostReview is presenting a new award category in which companies will compete for the vote of the site’s readers. Any company can nominate itself, and anyone can nominate a company. Site visitors will be able to freely submit their favorite hosting firm for the Readers' Choice Award by visiting http://www.hostreview.com/top10year2008.html . Nominations close on December 15th. On December 16th the voting page will go live.

In January, one randomly selected reader, who voted for a company, will be lucky to receive the big prize—Black iPod 8 GB.

Business model is proposed whereby the gTLDs are divided into two groups (a) free market whereby enough competition exists to serve a particular market segment and (b) monopolistic. Prices will be non regulated for the free market and regulated for the monopolistic market. The long term trend and goal for ICANN should be reducing the gTLD monopolies.
